CALA Homes (East) Ltd is delighted to be able to confirm our latest investment in Midlothian at Millerhill, comprising; 620 Homes (including 25% Affordable), new link road from Old Craighall Road to the Millerhill junction on the City of Edinburgh Bypass, provision of Primary School land, land for a Park and Ride, and community allotments.

Background

Planning Permissions for the site were issued on 17th April 2023.

Phasing

Work commenced on 7th August 2023, with access from Old Craighall Road.

In order to implement the upgrade works to Old Craighall Road, and associated drainage works, a temporary closure of Old Craighall Road commenced on 6th September 2023.

Ongoing Updates – 15th December 2023

Old Craighall Road has now been fully reopened to traffic and other road users.

From 8th January 2024 a rolling programme of roadworks will take place, with traffic regulated by signalised control.
