Brian Griffin, project manager at 59 Lansdown, has received national recognition for the quality of his work with a prestigious industry award from the National Home Building Council (NHBC).

Brian has been named the top site manager in the South West in the multi-storey category at the 2020 Pride in the Job Awards. This is the second year that Brian has received the highly-coveted Regional Award for his work at 59 Lansdown. He will now go on to represent the region in the national Supreme Awards in 2021.

The Pride in the Job Awards, now in their 40th year, are one of the highest industry accolades a site manager can receive. Brian had already received a Quality Award and Seal of Excellence, putting him amongst the cream of the industry who demonstrate the passion, commitment and leadership to deliver new homes to the highest possible standards.

Andy Dicker, Regional Managing Director for Cala Homes Midlands, comments: “These awards recognise an unwavering commitment to creating homes of the highest standard and are testament to the hard work of our site and project managers, as well as their wider teams and subcontractor partners.

“My thanks go to Brian and his team at 59 Lansdown for continuing to take pride in the job year on year, and delivering an exceptional development in Cheltenham.”

As well as undergoing spot checks of the day-to-day running of their site, each site manager is assessed across 37 different areas of site management, including technical knowledge, quality and consistency.

Brian said: “I am thrilled to have won The Regional Award from the NHBC for the second year running. It can be tough to win the award once, but to achieve this twice, and for the same development, is testament to the quality of the product we are delivering in Cheltenham.

“The award is definitely something I share with my whole team who work hard every day to ensure a high quality build at one of Cala’s most luxurious and aspirational developments.”
