We will put you in touch with an approved Own New mortgage broker who can talk you through the mortgage process.
Your Mortgage Broker or Independent Financial Adviser will then advise you on the participating mortgage lenders and take you through the process of applying for a mortgage. We cannot guarantee that the lender will accept your application.
If your mortgage application is successful, you can reserve your Cala home and you’re one step closer to your new home.
This scheme is open to anyone purchasing a new build property including first time buyers and home movers. Own New works with home builders and lenders behind the scenes, taking a fee from the home builders and using this with the lender to reduce the interest on mortgage payments for the initial term.

Own New’s Rate Reducer scheme is available on selected plots at selected Cala/Legal & General Homes developments only and may be time limited.
The Rate Reducer amount will be agreed prior to reservation between you and the Sales Consultant at the relevant Cala/Legal & General Homes development. This will include a Cala contribution of either 3% or 5% of the purchase price of your new home which will be passed directly to the lender, reducing your mortgage interest rate.
Please contact the Sales Consultant at your chosen development who will be able to confirm whether it is a participating development and for details of the applicable plots, the latest reservation date and legal completion date to which this scheme may apply.
This scheme is not available in conjunction with any other incentive, unless given at the sole discretion of Cala. Cala withholds the right to withdraw or alter its participation in this scheme at any time prior to your payment of the reservation fee.
Independent financial advice must be sought from a regulated mortgage broker to access this scheme. Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up your mortgage repayments.
