Construction Underway
Construction has officially begun at Cala West's new development - Aurs Meadows, located in East Dunbartonshire.
Aurs Meadows will feature 221 new build homes in the popular area of Barrhead and will present a wide variety of home styles to choose from. The collection will feature two- and three- bedroom terraced homes, three bedroom semi-detached homes, three- and four-bedroom townhouses and four- and five- bedroom detached homes. The first properties at Aurs Meadows are to be released for sale in Spring 2025.
Aurs Meadows will offer generous greenspace and attractive landscaping, including a village green and children's play areas. In addition to this, current plans include the provision of a neighbourhood retail facility.
Aurs Meadows will also benefit from convenient access to the newly proposed Balgray train station, which when complete, will serve as a new stop between Patterton and Neilston, providing improved public transport links between Barrhead, the Dams to Darnley Country Park, and Glasgow.
Aurs Meadows will also see the adoption of our Community Pledge initiative, which aims to create a bespoke plan of community support that will add value and meaningful benefit, including donations, volunteering, school programmes and much more.
As part of this, our Urban Wildlife Strategy outlines our commitment to incorporate wild-life supporting measures into every new home we build, such as bat roosting and bird nesting features, as well as hedgehog-friendly fences and invertebrate bricks for bees and other invertebrates.
Aurs Meadows is set to launch for sale in Spring 2025.
