Planning Application - Land off Burnfoot Road, Lochwinnoch

Cala Homes (West) are delighted to be preparing a planning application for residential development in Lochwinnoch.

The area of land sits between Garpel Burn and St Joseph's Nursing Home off Burnfoot Road, to the south west of the village, and is allocated within the Renfrewshire Local Development Plan 2021 for housing (Referred to as "West of Burnfoot Road, Lochwinnoch"). 

The proposed development would deliver 75 private Cala homes, comprising a mix of 3 bedroom terraced and 4 and 5 bedroom detached properties, alongside 25 affordable homes. The site will be surrounded by generous green space and will feature a play area, village green and various connecting active travel routes around the development.

We are now progressing with our preparations for the submission of a planning application in the coming weeks. We held the initial public consultation on 12th of September 2024 where 150 local people attended, 100 of whom shared feedback on Cala's proposed development, which will be vital as we refine our proposals. The second public consultation is being held on Wednesday 30th October 2024, between 1pm - 7pm at the McKillop Institute, Main Street, Lochwinnoch PA12 4AJ.
