Photography Privacy Policy

We understand that when you provide your personal data to Cala, you will want to know about what
we will do with that personal data and how you can contact us about in the future. With this in mind
we have prepared the following Privacy Notice to explain this further.

 

Who we are/Contact details

We are CALA Group (Holdings) Limited, a company registered in England & Wales, Company Number 08428265, Registered Office ‐ CALA House, 54 The Causeway, Staines‐upon‐Thames, Surrey TW18 3AX and its subsidiary companies including CALA Management Limited ("Cala"): We provide this Privacy Notice to inform you of our policy and practices and of the choices you can make about the way your information is collected.

 

Purposes of the processing and legal basis for processing

We will process your personal data in order to use photographs which we have had taken of you to publicise
Cala’s business or Cala events. This may be for direct marketing purposes, promotions, recruitment, reporting and internal communications. We may process your personal data with your consent, which may be provided on a consent form or by other means. Where practical your permission will be sought before photographs are taken. Sometimes it is not practical to seek permission, for example during special events and other busy times. On these occasions photographs may still be taken and used as indicated in this Privacy Notice. Please contact us as below if you wish to discuss this. In certain situations we process your personal data to pursue our legitimate interests in a way that you may reasonably expect us to as part of running our business, provided it does not impact unduly on your rights, freedom or interests. For example: we take photographs of those who attend Cala events in order to pursue our legitimate interests of constructing and selling Cala homes.

 

Who your data will be shared with

Your data will be shared internally and otherwise as required by law. We may share your data with Cala approved consultants and professional advisors. We may share your data in, corporate documents, newspapers, online platforms and on our website.

 

Period for which personal data will be stored

We will keep personal data in connection with photograph for a period of 5 years from the date when photograph is taken

 

Right to make a subject access or request data rectification /erasure/restriction/objection/data portability
